How did you get started in Ice Sculpting?
I was asked to help out with an ice project because the guy heard that I was a sculptor.

How many years have you been sculpting ice?
Seriously since 1996

What is your most memorable sculpture? And any short story why it was your most memorable.
Two jousting knights. This was the first time I had teamed up with a professional ice sculptor and the end result lit a fire that still burns.

Have you received any notable awards or recognition in your carving career
Nica master, 21 world championships, and competing in 3 Olympics.

Most memorable location you've carved at?
Lake Louise

Is there a particular type of subject or theme that you like to carve?
Humans, animals, and architectural objects.

What do you enjoy most about participating in ice sculpting competitions?
Being with a good carver and feeding off the good energy.

What advice would you give to someone new to ice sculpting?
Take a class with someone who knows what they’re doing.
