In January 2023, The Minnesota Ice Maze made its debut in Eagan, MN. The largest ice maze in the Midwest, it became the highlight of Winter SKOLstice, an annual winter event hosted at Viking Lakes. The Minnesota Ice Maze attracted ~60k visitors over its six week run, amassing attendees from across the nation, as well as other countries. It was an enormous success.

Despite the cancellation of The Minnesota Ice Festival in 2024 due to unseasonably warm weather, Minnesota Ice is gearing up to deliver the same level of energy, excitement, and enjoyment at the 2025 festival. Anticipating 125k attendees, we're planning bigger and better attractions, including a world-record-sized ice maze, a multi-lane ice slide, a skating rink, ice bars serving spirited beverages, and food trucks offering delicious eats.
